I started skating when I was five years old at the North Shore Skating Club, and started taking private lessons at age seven.  I fell in love with the sport and art of skating, fully immersing myself and finding a natural gift for choreography and improvisation. Expressing myself through movement without using my voice was a mind/body/soul connection I'd never before encountered. When I shifted to a career in professional theatre I began training in dance, having the opportunity to work with masterful choreographers including Twyla Tharp, Maurice Hines and Christopher Gatelli. Upon transitioning back to figure skating as a coach and choreographer, I began studying contemporary choreography with Kate McSwain and American Ice Theatre, becoming a certified Level One AIT Choreographer in 2022. Currently I'm head coach and choreographer for the Blizzard Ballet Adult Theatre On Ice Team at the Colonial Figure Skating Club, where I also coach private and group lessons.
